Sydney Plaza is an approximately 17,000 sq. ft. neighbourhood retail centre situated along Kamloops’ North Shore, fronting the area’s primary commercial corridor and directly across from North Hills Mall. Lotus Capital acquired the property in 2007 with a mix of established retail tenants serving the surrounding community.
During the hold period, Lotus Capital strengthened the property’s tenancy through lease renewals and new leasing activity, while bringing rental rates closer to prevailing market levels. The property was sold in 2009.
